Activities & Projects
Lions is a community service organisation and people join Lions because they want to use their intellect, creativity, commitment and enthusiasm to get things done. Like what you see? Get involved!
The Club allocates funds towards:-
- Lions Youth of the Year Competition
- Lions Peace Poster Competition
- Lions Youth Exchange Program
- Outward Bound camp in northern New South Wales
- Inclusion Program,
- Learner driver program; and
- Awards for students at the local schools
The Inclusion Program is for young adults (18+) with disabilities. Weekly gym activities, monthly dances, monthly lawns bowls and socialising, and workshops in the visual arts and theatre are held.

Lions Park, Curtis Road, Tamborine Mountain
Lions Park has a children's playground, electric bar-b-q areas and seats which were funded by the Queensland State Government, Scenic Rim Regional Council and the Lions Club of Tamborine Mountain.
Fund Rasing Activities
Raising funds is a never-ending task, but it is one that the Lions and Leo members embrace with enthusiasm and good humour. Work at the monthly Mt Tamborine Markets and selling raffle tickets is augmented with the sausage sizzles at Bunings, Oxenford.
Assistance For Victims of Disasters
The Lions Club of Tamborine Mountain Inc contributed funds to assist the victims of bushfires and drought, as well as assist with major disasters overseas.
